The Visual Artists Awards is no longer accepting entries for the 2018 Digital Edition. The announcement of the winners will be made July 1st 2018.
The VAA was established to honor excellence in the field of projection mapping, motion graphics and augmented reality and provide a global platform for YOU, the digital artist.
Yes, art is subjective, ethereal, and art transcends the laws of right and wrong. Pablo Picasso said of art - "Learn the rules like a pro, so you can break them like an artist".
At the VAA's we are often asked, how can you judge art and determine that one piece of art may be better than another? We don't have an answer to that question. But, we do know what inspires us - innovation, creativity, passion, drive and vision.
If you have those characteristics, we want to see your art. But more importantly, we want the WORLD to see your art. If the VAAs can do that, if we can help put you on a global stage, if we can introduce you to more viewers, more clients, other artists, and other visionaries, then we have done our job.
It was only a few weeks ago that we announced the formation of the VAA's and we already have applicants from 34 countries. We are growing and we have an important mission.
