The Visual Artist Awards is an organization, dedicated to lead the industry in recognizing pioneers and leaders in the field of projection mapping, motion graphics, and augmented reality. The Visual Artist Awards elevates this rapidly advancing field by honoring deserving talent - individual and corporate - as they research, innovate, test, and apply creative thinking, technology, and intellectual firepower to move photons in ways that spawn enthusiasm and enchantment for wide-eyed spectators in venues around the world.
Because of the interest that we have receiving from talented motion graphics artists and projection mappers from more than 40 countries around the world we had extended our deadline for content submission to December 31, 2017. The awards ceremony will be made by video announcement and released on July 1st 2018.
The Visual Artist Awards is delighted to announce that we are in the final phases of negotiations with industry giants Epson and Sony. Each company produces leading edge projectors that have enabled projection mapping artists from around the world to showcase their works in brilliant color and high resolution. Soon we will announce the winner of the VISUAL ARTISTS AWARDS PROJECTOR SHOOT-OUT! Who will win??? Stay tuned!!!!!
THE VIZZIE
Like other major award ceremonies around the globe, the Visual Artist Award pays homage to industry leaders with winners each receiving a cherished award. The Visual Artist Award, The “Vizzie”, is handcrafted, chromium plated and polished to a mirrored finish. Mounted on a block of granite the coveted award stands over 12 inches tall.
